Notes from the Factory
The Boston Rocker is the perfect choice for a retirement gift. (Not that the recipient will have any more time to rock in it, but the idea is there!) For those who may have back problems or a fondness for the old-fashioned comfort of the rocker, our Boston Rocker can’t be beat.

Not recommended for outdoor use on a regular basis as the beautiful finish - one of the features of the chairs that our customers are often most enthusiastic about - will wear out. (But the engraving won’t.)

Although a full-sized chair, by taking off the runners (and packing them separately in the box), we were able to ship rockers via UPS Ground - a huge cost savings over common carriers that made the rockers immediately affordable to a wide audience. This revolutionized the business.

We first attach the runners onto the rocker at the factory, then detach them for shipping. All you have to do is attach the runners again and screw in a few screws. That’s it. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to call us here at the factory.
